While up in Scotland for a quick visit my sister escorted me out & about at nearly midnight to take pics of the statues that have been erected on a few roundabouts in the area.

- I am retired and live in Blaby, Leicestershire with my husband Pat and my cat Rosie.I have a son in Canada a son in England and a daughter in Scotland. Total number of three grandchildren. I originate from Scotland with my Father being Scottish and my mother Welsh/English. I have had various jobs through my life but managed to work until I was sixty. Some of the pics in this blog were taken with a FinePix S7000 and a Panasonic Lumix FZ50 but my current camera is a Canon EOS 450D. I also use Kenco extension tubes for my macro/close-up shots of flowers.
