Mr & Mrs Swan

Taken while out for a trip into the countryside. A man on the estate told me the swans had 6 chicks this year and they all disappeared one night. Very sad.

Another flower that caught my eye today. This lovely Rose has a gorgeous perfume.

Its the 17th June and this Clematis 'Sieboldii' caught my eye while
I was walking round the garden. So...............out came the camera.

IRIS AFTER THE RAIN

After all that rain I went out to the garden to support some of the plants that needed it, then I decided to get the camera and snap this rather wet Iris.

While up in Scotland for a quick visit my sister escorted me out & about at nearly midnight to take pics of the statues that have been erected on a few roundabouts in the area.

This Aquilegia is one of the many different coloured ones in the garden, but I like this one as it is so dainty and shy looking. Nickname is Granny's Bonnet.

A lovely sunny day and a walk along the canal, I came across this. It's called the Aylestone Globe.

While in Leicester earlier this year this man 'sort of' attached himself to Pat, my husband. He was really quite a nice man only wanted to talk and talk but eventually we got away.

SPIDERPLANT FLOWER

This tiny flower is a spider plant flower or the proper name is chlorophytum. The actual flower is about the size of my thumb nail but looks gorgeous close up.
