- I am retired and live in Blaby, Leicestershire with my husband Pat and my cat Rosie.I have a son in Canada a son in England and a daughter in Scotland. Total number of three grandchildren. I originate from Scotland with my Father being Scottish and my mother Welsh/English. I have had various jobs through my life but managed to work until I was sixty. I now have a busy life with gardening, taking photographs and working on my computer. I am a member of "Flickr" which I enjoy immensely. Some of the pics in this blog were taken with a FinePix S7000 and a Panasonic Lumix FZ50 but my current camera is a Canon EOS 450D. I also use Kenco extension tubes for my macro/close-up shots of flowers.

How lovely!
While you are experiencing rain, we (finally) have snow falling.
It is so lovely this morning.
I hope all is well with you and yours.
Up until now, we have had a wonderful Fall, and this snow is the first this year. One can only be greatful for weather (when it waits to set in) of this type.
Soft huge Flakes of snow, and the world looks to be at peace in its' blanket of white.
